Cant seem to find much, hoping someone here knows a good site for this. Tried some others like 460ford.com but they're seppos - not many aussie cars there.
Really just want to see how the EFI is setup (in detail) when used on a BB, in an X series ford because ive got it listed as an option for my long term project, just doing my research now.

Thanks.

hey there mate just a thought but you might want to check on registration requirments for a 460BB cozthat is real big and getting that registered with that motor in it might be a very large head $%#@ possible probably but lts of mods to get it done prob ide be interested to no how you go ive got a 409 small block in an xyfairmont

I havent called the licensing place yet to check this all out as its just an idea atm, when I have the cash I'll be looking at the legalities more in-depth. But I've seen street registered cars (engineered too) with 460s, so I assume it can be done. Im anticipating suspension work, chassis work (brace kit etc), 4 point harnesses and things like that to make it as safe as possible. Using the rule of thumb calculation, which I cant think of right now but the thread is around somewhere, a car this weight can take an engine a bit bigger than this.
There's always a SB stroker to be had though, if the RTA says get stuffed.

In the big smoke the Only people that are dumb are a select few highway patrol men. everyone else is switched on.

What sort of X series do you want to fit the engine in? XD-XF can have a 429 with minimal work. 460 is above the guidelines so needs some more work to pass.

For XA-XC's I'd assume they can take a 460 with no dramas.

Don't know about XW/Y's and earlier.

XA-XC's need shock tower mods im pretty sure. The sides need to be notched out. Not a hard job
