Howdy, just a noob question i have as ive seen a few threads about this but none to answer my question.
I am driving my nannu's XD falcon around until my car gets fixed. Its in pretty good nick for its age still has original radio, mags, weathersheild etc etc
ANYWAY, is there a cluster that would fit into the XD that has a tacho? That would work as a direct plug in?
If someone could help me that would be awesome:)
-Paul

Yeah you can get a s-pack / sports one that plugs straight in,
All you have to do is replace the oil preasure light sender switch with a oil preasure gauge sender.
You also have to plug the pink wire onto the coil + which is with the coil wires under the bonnet.

The hardest part is swapping the speedo over mate you have to unscrew 8 screws and re fit them.
Then unscrew the old switch on the block and screw in the new one,
The tacho wire just needs to be un taped from the loom with the coil wires and placed on the coil.
The whole job should not take more than 20 mins all up.
A real easy upgrade and mod for the car.

Hmm...Being my nannu's car I might consult him first before doing this, If it were my car i would of done it already...

Its always a simple process lol
New head gaskets for me should of taken one week to install, Its been 8 months and counting of problems to date, not as easy as everyone said it would be, but then again a much bigger job..

Thanks for the info man, that was everything i needed to know!
You wouldnt know anyone on these forums i could contact who has one for sale do you?

I have an XD factory radio that still works, but its the lowest model one, is AM only. It'll take awhile to find it, been awhile since I've seen it.
It was from a 1980 XD.
