there is a company in QLD I think a bloke makes a twin cam head for the old crossflow. Krogdahl I believe. just putting that on netted 160kw which is a 60% increaso over the stock 103kw

Hmm since we are on the subject of x-flow 250's, I have a carby and its pretty gutless. Rather than make the carby go faster would it be feasible to just get a wrecked fairlane/ghia and just transfer all the electrics over?

Its not the electrics that make the EFI motor pump out more power.
The EFI motor uses a milder cam, and larger intake valves.
Simplest thing would be to install a mild, crow wade tighe..., cam and fit an Efi head have it shaved a little to bump up compression, maybe a quick port clean up. NEW VALVE SPRING and RETAINERS!
Dont forget a 2 1/2" exhaust and a set of extractors
