The more cam you want, the more compression you have to run to get it right. You basically want to shoot for about 180psi cranking compression. More than 190psi and its hard to tune right and not detonate.
If you want a mild increase in power but reasonable economy I would go for a 210@050" single pattern cam with a 110LSA and install it on a 108IC. Try and keep you adv duration under 270deg. with a genuine 9.5:1 compression that should pull strong fron 2500-5000rpm and have a nice lope. Couple that 3.23 gears for best performance. |

ok thanx for that,, im still deciding on bits and pieces.. it turns out i need new pistons anyway so why go standard.. compression should be at 9.5-9.1:1.. ill have to see how the finances work out as to how fast this thing progresses...
