How can I tell if my ute has it? it's a 1997 XH longreach 4l auto
I got 2 door lock keys (both the same) and a different ignition key (only one) when I bought the car. I'd like to get a second ignition key as a spare, but if there's a chip in it it'll need coding and be more expensive that I'm willing to shell out. So what are the things to look for behind the plastic? I've had the column shrouds off and didn't see any sort of coil pickup like a mates Magna has, is it hidden elsewhere? Thanks in advance |

Cheers Troyman, there is a smartlock teltale that lights up on the dash, but wasn't sure how it all works.
So if I get another key cut or a replacement ignition barrel with keys will there be any repercussions with the smartlock system? |

When the closed door locks like its possessed while the keys are on the front seat I am sure you wont be thinking its a smart lock lol
