PinkBits8u - I know what its like!!!! I got no rear speakers or parcel shelf carpet at the moment. the car is filthy, and I got 1 day to fix EVERYTHING (ie Tuesday) cos I work on wednesday, and leave thursday morning.

the painter burnt through with buffer trying to repair the runs and also in another spot so ill have a go at fixing it myself tommorrow
when at the nats i will put a sign on car that reads - dont look at my paint closer than 2 meters |

I have speakers, I have carpet, I have a clean interior, I have BBQ Plate
outside of the car WAS clean till it p****d down today. Now all I need to do is find some time to pack... ohh crap, I gotta get up for work in 3.5 hrs.. grrr

In Canberra now. When I walk out the front onto the balcony I can here the cars driving inside the compound. Ah the one good time of the year in Canberra

Lucky bastard. I'm not going this year but next year I'll be up there for sure. Its pretty hard as a specator cause you spend so much time on your feet they get pretty sore pretty quickly.

Why not pitch a tent in the grounds????? thats what i have been doing for the last 15 years!!!
Will be there again this year, and will do the same!!!! You will have a hard time finding a motel as most would have been booked out 5 years ago!!! |

I don't attend summernats anymore, but I camp out on Lonsdale st. Braddon for teh unofficial cruises. Always plenty to see.
