my au xr8 series 3 has an interimitant splutterwhen easily taking off , will splutter through 1st , 2nd and sometimes 3rd , but will stop when i power through revs. P.S have cleaned all filters and new plugs and leads , could it be the automatic choke???

Auto choke? Not on an EFI engine. I suggest replacing the coil pack, my EF had the same symptoms a while back and that's what fixed it.
