So people would jump on the roof to unlock a car. Lol

TRANY etc, that name goes for a few different things lol I know what your saying, I am a chippy by trade, but calling a screwdriver a screwy.... Its only 1 letter out of place for a Scewy, thats an acceptable abreviation, I have never heard of anyone tradie or not refer to a screwdriver as a screwy, until today that is. I have to accept your arguement and admit possible defeat based on the fact that my own trade is abrevieated with an ie, or y. But calling it a screwy is one step too close to bogan for my taste. I refuse to subscribe to that school of language. its just a bit too lazy for me. consider this me taking a stand on the further decline of the Australian lingo adaptions. And, No I don't eat cucumber sandwiches before I pandered as being high class. I've been on this forum too long to be allowed to enter that part of society. All in fun. Dave
