Anyone ever made a sump guard for the XH?
Does anyone know how they bolt on.
My 1 tonner has some ominous scratches too close to the sump so I intend to fit some type of guard.
Would a straight peice of metal bolt on? Can I bolt it to the frame around the sump?
Cheers

Nah,
went and asked them. No luck.
I thought I could bolt a peice of alloy on, but I can't see any mounting points.
I was hoping they were there but I can't find them.

Just drill thru the lip on the back of the k-member and bolt it on there, and overlap the front inside the bottom of the front bumper, and drill and bolt it on there. It will be hard against the front of the k-member, so it will protect the front of the sump, and still be easy enough to get off if you need to. Just make it as wide as the sump, so you can still change the oil and filter easily enough. If you want to protect the trans, just extend it all the way to the rear gearbox mount and attach it there.
Good luck.
:D
