Ok ive decided to use some technology and install thermo fans on my XE.
There is a 10 inch on the front already which i want to remove. I am after some suggestions on which thermos i should install - where i should install them and whether they should push or pull Any suggestions would be great |

Easiest route would be to measure up an EF/EL thermo set up for fit. If it will fit then it would be a good choice as the fans are shrouded and draw air through a larger area of the radiator.
Another route is, I had a HZ V8 years ago that I pulled the belt fan off and ran twin 12" Davies Craig fans in a pull configuration and using a thermostat to switch them on and off. I never had cooling problems on that car again after fitting them.

Seeing you're in Melbourne, head to Aussie Desert Coolers in Preston and speak to Norm for some advice. They are the best radiator place in Melbourne bar none, pretty well priced and a good group of blokes too
