Finally my 351 is set up with a kitted thermoquad

with the 3.25s and the 351 it hammers


Smoked a VY SS tonight very nice

Anyone need a thermoquad rebuilt msg me i know a bloke who knows his s**t

Holleys are s**t, but it is much easier to find someone who knows how to tune a holley.

Thermoquads are supposed to be the bees knees if you can get parts/tune right.

isnt that the same with all car parts tho?
untill they are tuned and s**t properly, they wont be the best - gotta put the extra work in to get it workion juuuuuust right

Sorry, that wasn't the point I was making...

It seems everyone thinks that Holleys are the best thing out there, but they are simply a carb that has saturated the market and therefore have good parts backup, etc.

A thermoquad had much more control over fuel and air mixtures it is like comparing a lawn mower carb with fuel injection. A holley is either tuned for performance or economy (HA) but a thermoquad can still pump out great power then cruise around using relatively little fuel (for a 351).

Just my 2c

mate .mate . mate throw them all out and get your self a barry grant the Demon carbies are awsome cant beat them do a serch on them you wont find better i run a mighty demon carb on my motor and they bloody good
