heya,
is there an easier way than putting a spanner down into the pulley on the front of the motor to try and turn it over (i needa see if its ceased up or not)? car is 87 efi 250 with the clutch fan ac/ p's etc. and there is just not enuf room to get the leverage i need to get the spanner in there to try and turn it. (tried turning the pulley with my hands... yeah.. that didnt work! lol) any ideas thanks in advance

ummm loosen off/take out all the plugs, and slacken off the belt by movine the alternator...and keep ur hands clear of the fan.

im prolly gunna pull the starter out 2morrow and lever it over by the flywheel.
if she turns, il keep her, if it wont budge - il find a way to make it dissapear... *looks innocent - nothing to see here officer *

get a big screw driver and stick it between a bolt head and the fan shaft/nut and put one of your hands on top of the fan belt and put tension (push down) on the belt so when u lever the screw driver down to the right the belt doesnt slip. just keep repeating this to u get were u want. takes awhile but works. 2 make it even easier take out the plugs. hope this help
