heya all you fellow X'ers

I have two hulks, one work one play, work is XD fairmaont ghia wagon with LTD front and elec interior, CD stacker, amp, 6" splits, 16" simmons, inpco 425, twin 60LT LPG tanks, LSD.

Fun car is partially built and just spent a lot on engine/box/turbo bits but haven't built it all yet. Rear end is finished an int is in but no front end yet.
83 FD LTD formerly known as "MEANFD" was from VIC, now ACT.
RRS phase3 front(twin spots EBC green pads 330mm slotted disks braided lines koni inserts eibach springs), with new prototype lightweight rack and pinion. Also tower notching kit.9" diff housing, thick walled inserts, strange alloy case, 3.0 to 1, billet yoke, 31 spline moser axles and pinion support. Race glide safe for 1000HP with brake, manualised etc etc.Pedders sway bars, lovells rear coils, pedders shocks, steel boxed rear arms, all poly bushes, all new bolts, etc, braided brake lines. Slotted rear disks, hard a** pads. GRA LPG system with twin feed lines from single 60LT tank. Black/Grey retrimmed interior (s/h cost 50$) with idiot light tacho and wank stick shifter(soon to be changed to suit glide).
NO STEREO as of yet.

And now for the ENGINE: 351 Clevor or BOSS(windsor block clevo heads)
World products block with 4.0" bore 9.5" deck
Eagle forged 3.5" stroke crank
Eagle forged H beams with L19 bolt upgrade 6.2"
Custom CP pistons with Childs&Albert rings, tool steel pins
Custom soild cam with .550lift on 114LSA.
Vernier adjustable timing set
Mellings pump and pickup
Street/strip sump
Romac balancer
Full ARP bolts/studs/everything
Scat flexplate
Edelbrock timing cover

Fully worked cleveland 2V heads, screw in studs, guideplates, YT RR's, double valve springs, manley swirl polished intake valves, SS exhaust valves both 4V valve sizes, hardened axhaust seats, isky stem seals, are closed chamber heads but have had chambers slightly milled to relieve comp a bit. Ported by a guy named Mick Webb I think, have run 12.7 n/a on the 1/4mile on LPG with these heads.

AND ordering from US this very night is Garret GT4274R with 1.15 a/r turbine and Tial 46mm wastegate, big BOV, all the fittings, and a E-boost 2 controller.

Its all coming together so I am very happy, going to see the engine dude this w/e so it all finally happening, F@@k yeah.

Hope to be one of the most powerful and fastest LPG fuelled cars in OZ, prob need to add another LPG tank and 2 more feed lines to get to that tho, all in good time.

Later
Charles
