I used to own an XA ute with a 351 Clevo, FMX and a 9" LSD. It had a GT dash with the padded Landau dash top. I look back at the pics of it with fond memories and still wish I had it but it needed some electrical work done to it amongst other things.

man....nice rides, mine dont compare. All I got is 2 xd sedans. The first one I got for $200, it was designed to last one weekend but we decided to keep it instead of flog it. It has been given a $30 purple paintjob to cover the rust, got a alloyhead 4.1 with extractors, zorst and a woeful 3 speed auto.

The other still has the original yellow, dead straight though, dual fuel 3 speed auto alloy head, with factory alloys. I got it for $600 off a mechanic who gave us a RWC as well. Thing is the guy hosed the engine bay down before he sold it to me, and when I took it to my mates place there was all this (what I thought) smoke coming from it - turns out it was absolutely filthy and the $hit just dripped on to the exhaust

The guy I bought it off has a 378 XD as a weekend car - HOLY $HIT that thing was so loud and nice thats what I'll be aiming for in a few years :D

What is the diff ratio, close ratio toploader and 3.0:1 is a 100km+ first gear without pulling big revs i.e. less than 5800rpm, been there done that.

My XD is engine less at the moment, it was a (slightly modded) factory 4.9L Fairmont auto, stock drum brake 2.92 open centre, currently it is fitted with a disc brake 2.77 28 spline LSD (ex factory 5.8L LTD)

Indecisive at the moment what I am going to do with it, it needs new paint but it looks good from a few metres away, the body is in top condition, interior is good (bar it is grog bog brown colour), I was going to fit a twin turbo 69 302 Windsor in it, but not sure right now. Money is the issue as always.
