they are getting rare the xd utes. you can get it if you want but it looks like you're going to be fixing a s**t load of rust! XD,E,Fs are renound for rust. But if you know what you're doing it should be alright.

yea but up close youd probably see it. they usually rust in places you can't see from the inside out. Like the corner of the wheel arches, under the windscreen grille, corner of doors, and on sedans, behind the c-pillar cover. I might be wrong about the rust on this car, but if you do go and have a look at it, be sure to check those areas.

rust is unfortunately more the norm than the exception on older Fords but this one looks pretty good - for 500 bux it looks like a bargain..I'd buy it! it'd be the perfect parts hauler....

yeh looks ok for age plus i like the idea of havinga ute handy plus its on gas so cheap to run it would only be a second car as my ef is my daily

rust isn't a huge problem to fix, tho depends where it is. xd,xe utes are all good, and i'm sure xg xh fronts fit? a cleveland would look good under the bonnet lol

I dont believe that this ute is nessisariy going to be rust bucket. Any 30 year old car is renound for rust. Well except maybe a delorean. If its been well looked after, it will be a great car for a project.

Ash had a an XF ute with a XH XR front on it. He has a build thread for it in the garage.

clevland would be good but will prob will leave her as a six for now if i get it but who knows what i may get as for the front i like the classic xd look but if i do get it i think a t5 will find its way in
