hi all, just wondering if anyone could please tell me the normal operating temp for a xf falcon, its a carby job if it makes any diference. thanks

My old XF used to get to half temp in the hot weather
mind you it was a digital crap spac dash |

The OE t'stat was an 88 degree unit, but if you want, put in an 82 degree unit an drop the rad cap pressure from 15 psi to 13 psi. That makes the radiators last longer, stops them getting the split happening at the end tank seams.

I think this is the answer the guy wanted. But anyway, my old Ghia used to exactly bang on half way (digital dash). |
