Just wondering which one would be quicker a stock as a rock 302 clev
or a worked 250 x-flow. clev would have a FMX and the x-flow a 5 speed.

Doesnt matter if the 250 could be made to go quicker, the 302 will drive nicer. Im assuming that this for an xe which can run the v8 legal. Forget the speed just wear that v8 grin!

I dont think there is much in it even being standard

The 302 clevos standard have a pollution cam and manifold and are a pig of an engine.

the 6 will run quicker, but the 8 has more potential IMO (unless you want to go doing silly stuff like bolting a hairdrier to the 6)

Nuh naturally aspired would love to turbo a 6 but dont think i could find a mainfold here in nz.

i dunno really know what to do either put a slightly worked 8 in the xe or a worked x-flow or dont bother putting anything in it and go for EB fairmont and play a lil with that, all are around same price
some advice or what ppl would rather would be nice to hear.
