Hey guys
I was thinking today while cleaning up my garage and i picked up a spare front rotor when i thought "hang on how do the BA mags fit on if the cap sit over the rotor like 3 cm" 
SEE THE CAP STICKING OUT ON THAT ROTOR(guessing the bearing are in there) but thats that im taking about Would this get in the way??? and is the stud pattern the same BA 2003 XR6 alloy mags to Ford Falcon XF Disc allround Thx for your time guys

AU-BA-BF have a diff offset to X & E series falcons, so no they won't fit. aftermarket copies are avail for cheap though.

rear will fit, front won't.
how do i know this?? well lets say that 2x au2 pursuit rims were used for skiddies a couple of years back. i actually haven't tried the fronts but a mate told me they hit the caliper.

I used to drive around with Au pursuit rims on my XF all the time. After they were too worn for the taxi I'd just finish them off. The offset was just right for burnouts cause when they popped the tyre was fully contained within the wheel arch. |

they don't fit ef/el front cause of the different caliper i think.
i'll try it if i get a chance this weekend, my car is totally stripped. but yeah they sit in on x/e series, and don't smash the guard when they pop.

i've got an xf. and i have xr8 mags on it which really sets the car off. but my spare tyre is a ford pursuit rim and it wont fit my car, it comes in contact with my caliper.

Hi, love to fit some other mags to my Futura 1995 (EF) ... Can I just put a different brake on (brembo) or something? I have heard of this front wheel drive offset problem, and am looking to get around it. More powerful front brakes could be an advantage too...

dont bother with brembos, ud be shocked with the price of the pads. get some APracing brakes but your looking at 4k just for the front ones.... bit too much in my opinion u can get those bolt on hub adaptors but make sure they are legal in your state. this will allow you to fit the newer wheels in the different offset

there's nothing wrong with adaptors, may track cars use them some porches came out with them from factory, spacers however are very dangerous

Care to explain the difference between a spacer and an adapter? Got any pics for a comparo? Even a s**t side on drawing in paintbrush will do. |

spacers are exactly that a peice of alluminum/steel with holes drilled to suit the studd patturn where as a hub addaptor actualy bolts on to the origional wheel studs and has another set of its own i will get some pics tonight
