Hello all, just wondering if anyone makes or sells x series window regs and motors.

Don't know of any. I don't think you can even get the drive balls and gears any more. Which one do you need. Regards TPVM.

The right hand front and rear, the motors still work but not sure about the regs. I might drill out the rivets and see if the gears are gone.

If you reverse the main spring you can use left on right, that may get you out of trouble as left's are easier to get good ones. Regards Alan TPVM.

I pulled the rear out tonight and found the little plastic bushes that act as cushions in the motor were gone, so im gunna make up something to replace them.

Those you can buy on ebay as a set... of 3. With and/or without the gear.

Some people also use timber or something solid, but it seems logical to use the right part.

Out of interest - it looks like explorer window mechanisms are very similar.

cool, i fould some brass in the shed that was pretty close to the same size as the original bushes which i have found out are 10mm by 12mm. fitted them in and the window works sweeeet. :D
