hey all

a mate & i are looking into grabbing an XB GT - for the whopping sum of $1200. we're told its in good nick, although we're yet to check it out ourselves. the price is good as its through his g/f's family.

so - what are the XB GT's like? what should we be looking for, considering its a '75 model :P we have feck all details about it at the moment - only that its a V8 XB GT, and is still used on a regular basis - so at least we know its running! :)

so please, tell us all you can!

cheers

You Idiot , an XB GT for $1200 bucks, you should not even question the price.
If it is any where near genuine the 4V motor alone would be worth $1200.00.
As you have not seen the vehicle in question, after your visual inspection, If you do not purchase it let me know and I will seriously look at it!!
Cheers.

hahaha we're just being cautious. as $1200 for an XB GT sounds too good to be true for us too - hence why we haven't def agreed to buy it already thats all! we will check to make sure it is what we've been told first!

The people to talk to are on this site http://www.falcongtclub.org/discussion.asp
Its the Australian GT Club website. Every question u ask will be answered!
I gotta say that is EXTREMELY cheap for an XBGT. Ive seen XB GT "rolling shells" go for alot more than that. Make sure its a legit GT. Anyway the boys on the GT site will help you immensley. Good Luck!

if its a coupe its a steal they are fetching up to 40K for a manual
being a 75 XB GT it wont have the big port heads only the small ones (2V)
only the very early ones had the 4V , if its a manual the late XB GT's had single rail boxes not the top loaders .

still these cars are going up in price and in any condition i would buy this car and just put it in the corner.
if you dont want it give me an option hey?
