Quick question does anybody out there know if i can use the original breakbooster and master on my XC coupe when i change from a drum rear to disc. Cant find any info in the workshop manuals. Cheers for any help.

Yes if you include a valve in the line to the rear brakes :D

You need to remove the residual line pressure from the rear brake port to use with Rear disc brakes, if you don't, the rear brakes will apply, then won't let go straight away, which fries the brakes. Or use a proper brake master cyl.

Cheers found out some info Ford used the same master on the XC for drum and disc .Hoppers Stoppers had some good fault finding stuff that helped aswell for testing residual line pressure release. :)
