The a pillars are cactus and need cutting out and replacing S I said earlier there's a lot of work here lol but not impossible. Also depends how much you got to spend and willing to spendif I were you id be enquiring around on getting brand new cuts or cuts from somewhere to weld in if its gonna cost to much get a better shell/ car

I dont realy want to spend to mutch but i am going to do most of the work my self and will probably use second hand parts or new if i can find someone who makes them.

Have you removed the front panels and had a look underneath the car behind panels aswell? A donor shell would be really handy for you as your probably gonna need it making sure the main areas you need ( c pillars windscreen outer)as for new parts I'm unsure as to what exactly is available out there I've never taken on such a big job myself

i have removed the front panels and there is no rust
 i also dont know what parts i can get new and would get a donor shell if i can find one with the bits i need. |

The challenger badges look familiar and I've never heard of ford xa b c challengers are they a real thing or has someone just put these badges on a continental?

Removing the roof from a unibody car makes it very weak - you'd need to reinforce the hell out of it, pretty well build a full chassis under it etc. - even then you'd end up with a weird looking 4 door convertible.. and if you were to weld up the rear doors you'd also need to lengthen the fronts and move the b pillars back to keep the proportions - and it would still look a bit weird.. I'd strongly suggest that even if you are removing the roof to put a newie on, brace the hell out of it before you make any cuts, and support it in as many locations as possible from underneath...

Making an XC into a convertible will be more costly than redoing the roof.
