I have owned my XC for 23 years and just when I thought I knew all there is to know about XC's this one has me stumped. The return spring that attaches to accelerator linkage rod just above the pedal came off and I can't for the life of me figure out where the other end attaches to. I have two different workshop manuals and neither of them show it either. I lied on my back under there for 10 minutes feeling around and I couldn't find anywhere to attach it to. Anyone with an XC out there who can help me out with this?
