G'day Guys,
I'm new to Ford Mods but am loving it already.
I have an XD ESP With a V8 in it. I wasn't sure if it was a real ESP so i got it looked at by a professional, he said it was indeed an esp but the 351 and gearbox were not original...
any ideas on value????

Thanks fellas,
I'm now thinking about just restoring it, would i be better off looking for a 6cyl like it came out of the factory or sticking with the 351?????

stick with the v8, price wont change much if not go down if its got a 6 cyl, they are worth a little bit of money but the only ones worth a fortune are the original matching numbers 351's

unfortunatly mate the ones i posted are the power figures, they never touched the motors in the esp range's and they were only as powerful as the basic 351's and 302.

the 302 makess 140kw and the 351 makes 149 kw.
iv driven a number of stock xd/xe 351's and now own a modified one and my worked one is probably only up to 190fwkw

full spec sheets can be found at falcon facts, the esp forums, xfalcon

however ill list them for u anyway, this is for the xe esp however mos tif it is the same for the xd, the xd should of had the bathurst globe wheels instead fo the snowflakes

The gold snow flakes were on the XE, the XD had Globes, same as Cobra and HO III. Also interoir instruments should be red, not green like the GL

Thanks Guys!!!!
this info is priceless!!!!
i love this site!
i think i'll stick with the V8, the worst thing is i already researched the rims needed and bathurst globes are about $1500 a set from what i've read, bloody expensive set of rims but i think they'll be worthy...
thanks guys!!!!!

The XE ESP's in 351 spec had engine oil coolers and used the shorter oil filter, Ryco # 89A.
