Hi all new to this forum needing help my ford xe Fairmont ghia won’t start. To date I have removed old fuel from tank replaced fuel filter and fuel pump, replaced some fuel lines, replaced spark plugs.
Car started and ran fine, took it for a drive and all went well. Two days later car won’t start. Today I pulled out all injectors out and tested all good and replaced all o rings from service kit. When I press accelerator while cracking car started but running rich and splatting.
Any suggestions?

Check the fuel pressure and the fuel injectors. If the fuel pressure is too low or the injectors are clogged, the engine might not get enough fuel to start.

If your car has a MAF sensor, make sure it's clean and functioning properly. A faulty MAF sensor can cause incorrect air-fuel mixture readings

Hey, sounds like you've done a fair bit of work to get the XE running again! Since it started after your initial work but now won’t fire up properly, it could be a few things. Running rich and spluttering might point to a fuel delivery or sensor issue—maybe the fuel pressure regulator or a temperature sensor is acting up, which could cause it to flood. Also, check for any vacuum leaks, as an air leak can mess with the air/fuel mix, making it run rich. Double-check all connections and hoses you touched during the injector work to make sure everything’s seated right. Hopefully, it’s a simple fix—good luck!
