Hi guys, very long time between visits, but I'm back on the blue ball again!!
I am in the beginnings of a major project. Bare metal strip down of my XE FAIRMONT. It currently houses a 4.1 injected engine and auto trans. I have stripped most if the body, (motor, box and wiring left to go) and planning to drop a 351 clev, 4sp top loader and 9in disc rear end into it, eventually!! My question to everybody is...... What nasties I should be watching for during the process. Any bad experiences anybody has had?? The body is pretty good as far as rust is concerned. A little in the usual spots (rear window, rear quarters etc,but all easy to repair), car was complete and running well when I started. Gimme some feedback if you can help thanks guys
