hey guys my xf door mechanism is totally shagged and worn, going to replace it and you know the little rods how most of them have 2 90 degree bends how the f**k are you supposed to be able to get both ends in, is there a trick to this or?

Yeah, bit of a trick....make sure you check your door hinges for wear........open door slightly, then lift door up & down....if it moves, hinges need rebushing.
The movement of the hinges buggers the catch/latch real quick.
