10 Years ago, I modded up an XF Falcon.

Extractors, 2.5inch system, re jetted carby, recond motor, auto gearbox recond.

It used to go pretty well, spin half of first gear when you gave it the boot. It used to pretty much match a VN commodore V6 which go pretty hard.

I still have the car and use it to park at the station when i go to work. I feel like its lost its one time pretty strong performance. no way in the world it will spin off the mark like it used to but it still pulls well off the mark, doesnt have the same power up top. Ive always serviced it and changed the plugs and tuned it. Any ideas why??

Do the motors just get tired or would it be poor timing?

Nothings really changed from when i modded it all those years ago??

You should just get a tuneup and maby check the head.
