G'day guys,

I have a 1987 XF fairmont which I am putting a XF Ghia dash, loom and a/c unit into.

I just need some help asap, I put a ghia heater box in with a/c as mine didnt have a/c, but the fan only works on 0 or full. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm replacing the fairmont dash with the ghia dash and loom.

Cheers guys,
Mitch!

i had problem like that years ago in my old xf, was the rheostat? theres a 50mm long plastic plate with a terminal on it, wiring plugs in to that, its mounted to the heater box with 2 screws not far out from the console, just above the passengers rh foot
i just got another from the self serve wreckers for $2

i only had 1 or 2 speeds in my xf s-pack wagon, and replacing that fixed it
unplug the wire, then unscrew it from the heaterbox and remove it, theres a coiled up wire on the other side iirc
hopefully it'll fix yours, maybe the actual switch?

Can also be the Resistor pack in the AirBox....

On Full the pack is bypassed. Did you reconnect it properly?
