I have just swapped a standard xf instrument cluster for the semi digital s-pak one. according to my diagrams they should work except for swapping oil pressure switch. both temps & oil pressure dont seem to work even when I short the sender. has anyone ever done this swap to confirm if it should work or are there wiring mods I need to make?

I swapped a gl cluster for the digital fairmont type and it all worked without wiring changes (except for the oil sender of course).

G'day
I had the same problem when i was changing mine over. Ive looked at the wiring and there is no reason why it shouldn't work. I'm gona be doing it to a ute in a few weeks so i'll see if that works. After pulling out a motor from the fairlane donor car for the ute, it appears that the temp senders are a different type compared to the one thats in the ute. I checked my wagon and it appears to have the same as the ute so maybe that has something to do with it. Cheers

We did the swap on a '85 XF GL, worked fine. Though they're getting old, so make sure the claster works.
