It looks as though my keyfob remote is done and dusted (it's been eaten), and have been looking around for a replacement but I can't seem to find any of the single button remotes, only the double button for the EL series Falcon's.
Any idea whether this remote would still work if I only reprogrammed the doors button, and left the boot release alone? Or is it just incompatible as I've been told? (on reviewing the peices for the single botton remote, it looks as though it had the ability to have two pads installed but they slipped a cover with just one hole on it, hence why I'm wondering). |

the lat time i looked at a single button ford keypad i opened it up and it was a two button circuit bord so their should be no reason why it shouldnt work

XF never had remote.
Yes, EB-EL Remote Fobs with twin buttons will work as a single.

They didn't have them either - he's talking about his XH.
