Check your door hinges for drop.....open the door just off the pillar, and see how much the door moves up & down.....if the hinges are worn....your new door handles won't last long.

I've replaced xf and xg, and whilst I haven't had two of them side by side at same time to confirm, I believe the LHS xf is the same as a RHS xg.

Either way, I had a rhs xg handle which could fit either side of my ute and the door still worked, more smoothly on the correct side.

I personally won't be buying overpriced "xg" handles again.

And yup a sagging door probably is the problem.

yes check your door hinges
you can still buy the nylon bushes or you can get the hinge kits complete for $20 odd ea off evil buy
depending on the month of your xg the xf ones may fit
what makes you think the after market handles are any better?
been there done that and for the $10 saving it really isn't worth the hassle
oh and when i went to buy a set 2 months ago genuine xh ones worked out to be $5 cheaper than the tawanise copies

I agree, Ford were only $26.00 for a brand new XH rhs handle last week....

s**t thats cheap. Parts over here are shocking

an taiwan XG XH handle over NZ is 80 + shipping, and from ford is even more. Can pick up handles for a xf from $25.

I asked for an xg xr6 front park light lense from a couple of ford dealerships, and was quoted over $200 + gst each, "as they don't sell just the lense" huh????,
Mr Twinlight had em for about $30 oz each.
