Are the rear handbrake cables for a disc brake rear end XG the same as an XF ute?

According to part number, No. They are the same for the XG and XH from 1993 on and, it is the same fro EB, ED sedans. No longer available from Ford but you should be able to get PBR or Better Brakes to get one made for you.
