Hey all, just wondering what peoples input on getting a BA interior into a XH shell, would it be pretty much the same has a E-series mod or is there more differences between a XH/E-Series firewalls etc, looking at doing it next year with full BA k-frame, suspension, engine etc....

Thanks.

I'm doing this at the moment and I tell you its a headache, dash needs cutting, heater box needs cutting, then you have the trouble of no demister vents, I'm thinking about fitting the stock xh vents to the dash and rigging up some thin pvc pipe to the heater box for channels for the air to pass through, doors need cutting to fit the trims, the seats fit but the holes in the rails are about 5 mm out, I just drove my bolts in bit by bit till they were secure i'm about 75% through mine are you doing the DOHC conversion to go with the interior

Yeah will be putting complete BA gear in, will be a long term project, sourcing a XH ute atm, few to look at.

and yeah thining the same with the PVC piping for the demister vents and putting XH Vents on the BA Dash.

how much of the heater box needs cutting to get it to fit?, and are you putting BA inner door on the xh doors?, pics? argh so many Q's :).

for the doors I've just cut a bit of the steel where needed to get the door trims to fit close to flush, I cut down the electric window regulators from a ba to fit and mounted them on angle to get the windows to go up and down smoothly, I put the BA heater box in and just trimmed it till it fit as best it could, need to cut a hole in the steel under the windscreen, the demister port and aircon put extends through the firewall thats where the pvc comes in handy. I'll take a few pics and put them up for ya, good luck
