Fairly easy mod - use an E series wagon assy. Run a brakelight wire from the loom to the RHS of the drivers seat up past the seatbelt and around to the headlining for the light - earth can be through the mounting screws, which you drill just above the back screen.
The majority of the work is getting it to fit behind the domelight.

Well done...what doesn't your car have snap?

I've toyed with that idea and found a solution - For some strange reason VS Maloo Ute sport bars (not the aluminium ones but the plastic ones) fit onto XH utes, just takes a bit of a challenge with mounting it to the dust cover. There is a XH XR8 up here that has it done already, I can get a hold of one for next to nothing so Ill post some pics up once its done.

Snap - Where would the best place to run a brake wire to exterior of the car be for an external high mount stop light? Was thinking of following the way you have done but put it through the rear wall behind the carpet and then up through the dus deflector/spoiler thingy.

Well there are a few things I've yet to fit - watch this space over the next few months. As you'd expect they'll be non XH factory options.

Chris, you can tap into the harness under the fuel tank access panel on the RHS, you may need to take off one of the side access plates so you can feed your wire upwards. The brake wire is green/red.
