who knows if the roof profile of the xg and xh utes are identical? i have just taken the plastic moulding off the rear window of my xh, with the intention of putting it on my xg, but when i went to fit the xg strip onto the xh, there was a huge difference?? (my xg is in storage 200km away)

No they are different.
The XH has a more rounded profile , while the XG shares the old XD-XF style roof.
