www.twinlight.com.au for the lights (unless you're feeling rich and want ford parts....)

the XG Grille is available from any ford dealer, about $70 complete plus paint

I just picked up my XG ute ... and the standard headlights aren't the best ... I just went to the twinlights site and ordered me a set ... can't wait to get them.

As I have a full HID set for H4s sitting at home ... with the ballasts and gas discharge globes .. wiring harness ... relays ... high/low switch ... you name it.

A mate of mine has put them on his Lancer Rally car ... and took a photo next to my Fiancee's Mirage at night (which has 90/100w super white halogens in) ... and the halogens looked like candles ... the HIDs were very damn bright ... I can't wait to put them in with the twinlights

Any recommendations on what to get and what to steer clear of on HID setups ? I've been thinking about it for a while in my ED XR and EF XR

The kit I got is the JSM brand.
It cost me approx $600 for the H4 kit (to fit the H4 socket).
They are made for many different types of headlight/globe styles.
The H4s cost more as they are a high/low beam setup as well ... not just low-beam.

All kits come with all that is needed to install the system ... comes with ballasts ... relays ... full plug and play wiring loom ... globes (look like arc welding electrodes) .. and instruction book that is easy to read as well.

I can speak to my contact in Melbourne about it ... and organise a group buy for people if interested.

Other kits I have seen for sale are over the $1000 mark retail for pretty much the same kit.

Once I get the twinlight coversion for the XG ute I will be installing the HID kit into it ... and will get pics up.
