RRS do a kit not a cheap exercise.. or could get a second hand unit from a fairmont of the same era its not power steering tho its power asisted steering lol scary stuff at high speed...

i took by power assisted steering off coz it makes it handle like a boat at high speed, sorry but i just sold it 6 weeks ago i also think that they have a specific gear ratio in the steering box when they are used....

find a power steering setup from xw-xc v8, change your steering column to xw onwards and fit the lot. easy enough.

I thought the bolt pattern for the steering box was different XR, XT, XW, XY, compared to XA to XF. :|

was just thinking then i have a xc steering box in my trailer ready for the dump. i pulled it out and compared measurements to my xr box, they are different pattern. gt guy told me it was reco xb, obviously not, must be xw xy.
