I think it is EF18C266A heater hose with end fitting. Can you please confirm if this is correct? It should be the hose from heater core returning to cooling system.

Papa Smurf How do you tell if an AU motor is Au 1, 2 or 3?

Heads are all the same, block has a small change in AU III but the internals are all the same, the Inlet Manifold is different between AU I AUII and III.

Ford services ONLY one replacement engine now for ALL series. Whatever the difference is, it's minimal.

AUI ran the same plug on the coil as the EF, AUII & AUIII have different plugs to the EF.

AUI also ran a different alternator to the AUII & AUIII which are same as BA/BF. Plug on alternator for AUI is different to EF and AUII & AUIII.

EF & AU Alternators mount different to each other.

Hi Papa Smurf.

Can you confirm that EF V8 (just the basic 165kw) injectors are the same as used in the EF I6 4.0?

Also, is the little screw that holds the rear view mirror to the windscreen still available? My Stereo removed mine

Matey, the Injectors are not same, the V8 ones are Mustang types and very different to the 6cyl ones.

The Screw is still available, part number 90675 S2 $10.80

6cyl EF ones are obsolete, the V8 ones are F1ZZ 9F593 C $650.00 EACH

Available in the USA for $41.33 each (they are Remanufactured but still better than $5000.00 http://www.directauto.com/product-exec/ ... l_Injector

Thanks Papa Smurf :D

I'll order a set of those If I can't track any down, and I'll take the ones I bought back and tell them off.

Are you ever surprised at the prices of some of this stuff? :D

You wouldn't have access to info such as what capacity these injectors are?

There are Ford Racing ones on Ebay, I'm assuming they are a lot bigger than standard.

The pics I have are terrible but the only thing I could think of is that there maybe some adaptor in the Oil Cooler on the side of the engine? Sorry i couldn't be more helpful.
