I dare say it would have the original Service part number on it but I don't think it will specifically have EL written on it and AFAIK, 17x8.5 wheel size, pretty sure 235/45/17

is there anyway you can check?

Hey, can I get a part number and price for clear side indicators for my EF XR6? Also a left hand parker/indicator assay? Cheers, Justin

Hiya George,

Just curious, were TFI's on the e series vehicles, the same between v8 and i6? Just chasing this info for my TFI tester... I can't see why they wouldn't be, because only the vane assembly would change I would have thought...

Thanks mate,
Tim

Can I please get a price on these from Ford? 18" Azzuros, as fitted to T3 TS50 I think.

The TFI modules have a different part number. The 6cyl ones are made in Aus AFAIK and the V8 one is American.

Hi, is there a difference between the EB stub axle and the EL one? do they directly swap over? Same question between the EB and EL tailshaft, both are 6 cylinder 4sp auto's with 2.92:1 diffs if that helps.

Cheers

no 4 speed auto had a 2.92. the tallest they went was 3.08

The tailshafts appear to be the same for EB/ED/EF/EL 6cyl autos, as to the stub axles, they have a different part number between the EA/EB/ED and the EF/EL but I have heard that people have used the EF/EL ones for the earlier models.

My bad, I keep pushing that number out of my head. Best 308 ever made was attached to a long chain under 40m of water. My old XB GT had a 2.92:1.

Thanks for that Poppa Smurf.

They are fully interchangable, but there are slight differences. EF/EL are a tad chunkier, and obviously stronger. And some of us will swear (me included) that the shape and overall steering angles are different between the 2. Putting an EB spindle into an EL will make the steering feel different.

And I'm sure there is a difference between XR and non-XR. They have different part numbers cast into the spindles.
