In addition, I believe the early stub axles have a slightly different length in the tie rod end arm, and if you mismatch a pair, you end up with different angles when turning the wheels, resulting in scrubbing and squealing.

Is the Tensioner really worn out/broken of is it just bearing noise?
The Tensioner is part number EF 6B209 A $222.90 and the individual
pullies EF 6T217 A $24.10 and EF 6B217 A $24.20

it was bearing noise but then about 100kms into a road trip, the thing completely broke but the odometer is just about to hit 750 000 kms and its on its original power steering, alternator, water pump, ac compressor and everything else so got it trucked back home and found it stuffed. cheers papa smurf

apparently gates one is cheaper...

same as the Ford one except with the logo machined off it so I'm told... both are made by gates...

Yes they are still available from Ford but there is a difference in them.
One is $91.00 and the other, $144.00. There is a slight difference and I think it is the colour of a plastic clip on the wiring?

AU I & II con rods have been replaced by the later AU ones (series III) and must be replaced in a set'
AU2 6200 A AU/BA/BF/FG standard, LPG up to 30/11/2002 $74.50
BA 6200 C BA/BF/FG LPG 01/12/2002 onwards $66.80

My sister in her wisdom hit a pot hole and destroyed a rim on her 2010 fiesta, its the 16" 7 spoke alloy one, can i get a price to replace one???

There are 2 models of Fiesta in 2010, one is WS model and the other WT. The WS wheel is $881.00 and the WT is $489.50, these prices are EACH :shock:
