Hey George, Does ford still stock door rubbers? for an EF or are the EA-EL all the same?
Mine are on there way out, they have a few tears and leak air once you start to get over 60kph

All the door rubbers for E series are obsolete, you could try the AU type and see if you can make them fit?

Just a thought would you have the E series door rubber part number I think the AU rubber part number is ERF25324A

I was thinking to see if it maybe the same as EA-EL?

If they are not available any idea where might sell them? cant seem to find anything on the net or auto shops?

Best bet would be to try and get a set of rubbers from the wreckers or some where like that

At one stage I was considering using AU/BA door rubbers and just cut them and make them fit.
You could use sikaflex to join them and maybe relocate the little clips.
There is a company here in NSW called Spectrum Rubber, they have miriad selections of Rubbers.

Hey there,
How much to get my hands on a brake light switch for an EF?
Bugger of a thing broke today, after I was talking about it with someone else only last night.

Thanks :)

Just curious what are the AU/BA door rubbers worth each?

hi george, on the fg falcon, there is a splash shield sort of thing behind the rear tyres which connects the bumper to the chassis, and forms part of the inner wheel well. (not sure what the part is called) considering the gt has a different shapped bumper to the xt and the g series, is that part different too? my ford guy says they only make the one part for all fg's, but the ones on my g6e dont fit the gt bar im putting on. im thinking he could be full of it, which wouldnt be suprising as hes led me astray before.

The main difference is the Combination switch and the series 1 is different to that later models. The Dash wiring harness is the same weather it has cruise or not, there is a separate wiring harness for the clutch switch which is still available new.

The splash shiled you are refering to is different on XT's to the rest of the series. Ford lists the G6E, GT, GTP or F6 as the same part number BG 17B938 B and BG 17B939 B. Maybe Ford have made a modification to them to make them fit?
