Thanks heaps in advance! Yes they did, mainly el cheapo utes and chassis cabs. They use the same drive belt as there is a bracket and pulley that completes the system. The bracket is part number BA 19A216A $360.00 and 3 bolts N 606566S309M $3.60 each. Attachment: DriveBelt.JPG

{USERNAME} wrote: Going by what you are saying Papa Smurf, an AU IRS LSD will slip straight into the BA/F M78 centre, as the AU is 4 pinion and the BA is 2 pinion. hence, AU Centre is slightly stronger. You could be right. I have an AU XR6 series 1 and my LSD no longer functions like it should, I was told that it is normal for this type of diff as the cone part wears down? I wish I could put the M86 in mine I would have to change the Crown Wheel and Pinion as well, too much $$$ |

Thanks Papa Smurf
Can I be a pain and ask if you have an idea on the price for just the drivers door one? and probably a stupid question, but if i bought the drivers door only, do i get the key with it? I've been quoted $200approx for just the drivers door and wondering if i'm getting ripped off here. Thanks heaps for your help Almost forgot, if the part is right (lock lever) any idea on getting it off? I for the life of me couldn't figure out how to take it off |

Thanks heaps for your help Almost forgot, if the part is right (lock lever) any idea on getting it off? I for the life of me couldn't figure out how to take it off As to the price for the drivers Barrel, yes they are bloody expensive. $250.00 AU F22050F. There is another way you could go too, you could buy the earlier model AU, ER F22050B, and take to a locksmith and have him recode the new one to match your keys? The price of the Earlier one is $140.00 and the ONLY difference is the keys you get with the lock. The keys you just don't bother using. The reason the NEW lock for yours costs so much IS the keys, they are Chip keys and hence the price. As to the OLD lever, mostly people used to just snap off the old one and gently press on the new one, maybe with a pair of Multi grips and a piece or wood so as not to damage the face of the Barrel. |

Thankyou very much anyway, you've been a great help. |

Hey Papa smurf did the Aug 2004 BA XR6T engines get the same engine improvements as the OCT BA Mk 2s. If not have there been improvements on the later MK1 BA engines compared to the earlier BA 1 engines?

If not have there been improvements on the later MK1 BA engines compared to the earlier BA 1 engines? The Block changed in 10/2005 and the sump as well, they changed the Oil Filter and Oil, the Turbo eng uses a specific Con Rod and it was changed from 05/2006. The Pistons are specific to Turbos and they changed in 05/2006, but the rings remained the same. Crankshaft is still the same for all 4.0 litre engines. The only major changes for the standard engine seems to have happened in 10/2005 when the BF came out. The Turbo changes were Turbo specific. I hope that is what you were referring to? |

G'day papa smurf,
I recently replaced my high pressure power steering line, but its still leaking from the back of the pump where the line goes in to, how much is it to replace that long bolt thing that goes in the back of the pump that screws into your high pressure line? Thanks |

Thanks The adaptor you are referring to is rarely replaced but still available. It is part number EDC 3F656A and costs $39.50 retail from your Ford Dealer. There is also the nut that is on the end of the High Pressure line part number F33C 3F656BA and costs 15.20. |
