Hi,

I know this may not be something you're able to check but maybe so?

I just would like to know if XB sedan boot lock and wagon tailgate lock have the same part number? Im after the tailgate lock, but I've had conflicting responses from various companies selling them about whether they're the same unit.

And a price genuine if so?

Thanks,
Jacob

They are different, both the wagon and sedan Barrell and Keys are obsolete.

Hey Papa, just wondering what we're looking at for a bonnet release cable for mums BA RTV. Like seat belts, one of those things I think you should just buy new.

Bonnet cables were a problem on the early BAs, they improved them and are a little different from the original type but will fit ok. Sometimes the Fuse Box where the bonnet cable is connected to can break, I will give you both prices.

Bonnet Cable BAF 16A665 A $34.05 and the Fuse Box BA 14A073 A $114.50

George, can you shed any light on who made the factory subwoofers for EB-EL, I'm guessing either pioneer or alpine.

Ford used for the normal speakers Alpine, AWA and Phillips.
Alpines used on the Premium sound, Mid range were Clarions and the base ones were Phillips.

AFAIK the Subs were Pioneer for EA/EB/ED.

Thanks Mate - must have been a shift for EF/EL, pioneers seemed to be used for the 6" speakers front and back.
