Hi George
We had some fun getting a new serpentine belt for the EF wagon today. Nothing seemed to want to fit. The original Motorcraft one on it has the part number 94DA-8620-AC What would it originally come from so we know what to get next time? Cheers Matt

Dayco part number is 20-5355, Motorcraft part number AJK6945. (sorry about stealing your thread a tiny little bit george )

With the tensioner at full compression the 6PK2350 would not fit. It missed out by about 15mm by the looks of it. AT SWC's suggestion we tried an AU aftermarket belt incase an AU compressor had been fitted. That belt went on but the tension is now about half way through its travel. Thats why I am hoping to find out what the original belt that come off it was so I can get one of them and change it over.

The number you quoted is now superceded to the AJK6 945 but you may be able to get away with using the AU VCT one which is slightly longer AJK6 956 or, the XH log manifold one which is longer again AJK6 965. Another thought is that maybe the tensioner itself isn't moving sufficiently? They used to be a problem on the early models. |

As to your heater fan, they are obsolete and were over $200.00 when you could buy them. It is the same from ED to AU. |
