The original Motorcraft one on it has the part number 94DA-8620-AC What would it originally come from so we know what to get next time? Cheers Matt a 6PK2350 belt should do the job. Dayco part number is 20-5355, Motorcraft part number AJK6945. (sorry about stealing your thread a tiny little bit george ) Thats the problem Alfy it didnt. With the tensioner at full compression the 6PK2350 would not fit. It missed out by about 15mm by the looks of it. AT SWC's suggestion we tried an AU aftermarket belt incase an AU compressor had been fitted. That belt went on but the tension is now about half way through its travel. Thats why I am hoping to find out what the original belt that come off it was so I can get one of them and change it over. strangely enough i just had the same problem with a au serpentine belt. removed the old motorcraft one and we were given a 6pk2380, which is the correct replacement.. but unfortunatly this belt is 15mm too short.. its that short there is no possable way it will go on without breaking something.. so we took it back.. and the guy at peps has a dayco belt measurer and the replacement 6pk2380 actually measures out to be 2370 in length... so at the moment its looking like the aftermarket manufacturing specs are off?? waiting for them to order in a different brand belt to see if its different.. |

The only difference I can see is that the Valve body is the ONLY difference in both transmissions. The Power Train module is different but I think it is for the different change rates for the trans. Truly I could not see why you couldn't make the change. |
