Hey George,
My custom cruise cable played up today... It is an EF/EL actuator running a log manifold and throttle body in my ED...
Then I had a brain storm... The XH runs a log manifold... And I would bet it runs the EF/EL cruise actuator... If so how much is the cruise cable and is it still available? It is basically just a longer EF/EL cable...
Cheers,
Tim

Unfortunately, the cable you are refering to is now obsolete.

Hi George

How much for a genuine o2 sensor for a BF falcon - the first one that plugs into the extractors not the second one near the cat. Mine has never been replaced and thinking its a good idea before i get it tuned (no need for 2nd one as i will get that turned off as part of the tune)

Thanks for the help - appreciate at it

Cheers
Phil

Hi Again Papa Smurf,

I am about to replace my clutch in my ED but thinking I should replace the clutch pivot pin and wear plate that holds the pivot arm to the bell housing, any chance I could get a price on them please and organise them to be sent to me?

The ONLY one you can get is the AU plate and stud. The stud is the same but the plate is different. If I remeber correctly, you can use the AU one, I am sure that TROYMAN did.

You will be looking at approx $32.00

George,

Speedo gear to suit the XR 3.45 diff with 16" wheels...

Black gear 23 teeth for the e series?

Dad thought it was the Grey 22T version but is for 15" wheels... And he said it is not available... Just wonder if it isn't can't you see any sitting anywhere in Ford?

Do you have any info about the drive gear in the gear box as to what colour drive gear will mesh properly with each of the coloured gears?

And out of desperation, definitely none of those cruise control cables just lying around anywhere I can ring a specific dealer about?

Cheers,
Tim

Matey, the correct gear is the 23 tooth gear, part number XE 17271 F $13.70. The Auto Drive gear is XA 17285 E $26.20 and is yellow, the Manual is XFP 17285 A Maroon $9.40.

As to the cable, the part number was EHC 9A820 B but NO ONE in Australia has one, I checked.
The original manufacturer would have been Flexdrive cables, they ahve an office here in NSW and they MAY be able to help or might be able to make one for you either from sample or they might even still have the original specs. http://www.fdrive.com.au/contacts/nsw.php

AU's use the same gears

George...

After doing the calcs a 15" tire is way closer a 17 than a 15" tire... As such the grey 22T gear would be the better one to own... Should've worked that out first... Which is the one Lanham's reckon is obsolete? Any lying around anywhere else you can see?

Thanks for all that info on the cable... Will suss it out :)

Cheers,
Tim
