I have 17's Well, Tim seems to think he will need 22T gear for the same thing but the EL GT with 17" and had a 23T gear. The 23 is XE 17271 F $13.70 and the 22 is XE 17271 E $23.50 |

Ash wrote: Hi George, While we're all on the topic of speedo senders, would there be any chance at all of an XF unit around the neck of the woods anywhere? A mate needs one for his C4. Cheers! An XF with a C4? not a factory item All XFs use the EA/EB/ED/EF/EL/AU one, I am sure this will fit the C4. If he needs a new gear the C4 ones are still available. |

Well, I don't know who told him or where he got that info BUT, the part is still showing as available and with a price tag of $415.00. When I go to work on Monday I will double check for you. |

That is correct George. I had to use this sender when i went to 3.9 gears to slow the signal down to correct the speedo in the EF. Brett

It isn't a very common part to sell these days. There is also a Blend Door motor which is situated on the top of the heater case, maybe that is it? they sure did wear a lot years ago. |

Hi Again Papa Smurf. I recieved that last item fine, thanks.
Can you tell me anything at all about a steering rack bolt recall that was done on the AUs? I have a suspicion my XR6 missed out, it makes the clicking noise from the rack and only has one or two recall labels in the drivers door jam. The Fairmont has many on the other hand. Do you have a number to look for on these labels? Are the bolts still available? Anything you can tell me would be great, thanks. |
