Thanks Troy If that is the case, then it would appear he wants the nylex pipe with the Rubber angled adaptor on it, Part number is BA 6C661 A and is $34.50. I am sure that Sinclairs wiil NOT have this one but we do, we have 3 in stock. |

hi there papasmurf,
i'm wondering whether there is a listing for the slip yoke dampener/balancer for an au2 manual alloy tailshaft. i'm getting noises, vibrations, and backlash noise after a t5 conversion and from what i've gathered this is the thing to do? item is pictured here from another fordmods member: download/file.php?id=44119&mode=view cheers, adam |

Have you checked the Unis? It might also be that the tailshaft needs balancing. |

It might also be that the tailshaft needs balancing. unis are fine, they move freely and smoothly, and there is no play into the extension housing. i might try to go get the tailshaft balanced today. i'll see how i go! |

Hi George, Just wondering whether the Hydraulic lash adjusters for an EB2 Fairmont i6 are still available from Ford and how much they are each. Ive already paid a kings ransom for 2 of them from REPCO and am after another 10 (the wankers at a certain nationwide car parts shop told me after they 'researched it' that the EB and the EL use the same lash adjusters, that ended their chances of getting my money)... Also, is there a timing chain, tensioner and guide kit available for the old EB 6?
Cheers |

The Ford ones for the EA cost $51.50 each and the later ones Cost $74.00 each, way too dear. With the guides, only the bottom one and the one on the passenger side of the engine are still available. Ford obsoleted the other one, the timing chain and the Aux shaft. |

Just to make it clear, EBII onwards DO use the same ones. The "Wankers" were correct.

Well, EBII started 02/1992 and ended in July 1993 so, the Lash Adjusters didn't change to well into the last part of the EBII in May 1993.
