Ok. Just to be clear, that wasn't directed at you Papa Smurf. :D

I thought all the 4.0 used the 11mm, and the 3.9 was the 14mm?

Just a quick one george, how much for all 4 door actuators for an EF/EL, if they are still available.

Papa Smurf,

Apologies if this one has been done to death...

Looking for a clutch clevis (and I guess bushes) for a '93 EBII.

In a previous thread you mentioned: "Clevis: XC 7664 A $13.00, Bushes: XF 7B605 A $6.60"

Do you know if these are still available new? Best place to order from in VIC?

Cheers,

-Dean

Just to make it clear, EBII onwards DO use the same ones. The "Wankers" were correct.

Funny that, MY EB2 has 14mm LHA's.

Hi George, Just wondering whether the Hydraulic lash adjusters for an EB2 Fairmont i6 are still available from Ford and how much they are each. Ive already paid a kings ransom for 2 of them from REPCO and am after another 10 (the wankers at a certain nationwide car parts shop told me after they 'researched it' that the EB and the EL use the same lash adjusters, that ended their chances of getting my money)... Also, is there a timing chain, tensioner and guide kit available for the old EB 6?
Cheers

Dazza, the EBII from 01/04/1993 use the late lash Adj the early one uses EA type. The Ford ones for the EA cost $51.50 each and the later ones Cost $74.00 each, way too dear.
With the guides, only the bottom one and the one on the passenger side of the engine are still available. Ford obsoleted the other one, the timing chain and the Aux shaft.

Thanks George, much appreciated.

Hi George
Can you please tell me if the AU manual shifter boot is still available or has it gone the way of the dodo bird and the EF EL shifter boots?
I take it the EB GT one is NLA?
Also would the stereo surround and ashtray be available for an XH?

The standard sway bar bush ofr EF/EL is 27mm, the AU1 uses same. The only bush I can find that is 24mm is for AUII/III and it is a different shape.

The AU one is still available and in black ER 7277 A6 $79.43, The EF/EL/ED boots are all obsolete.
The ashtray and centre dash panel are long gone.

Hi George,

Can you tell me if this airbox is still available from Ford, how much I can expect to pay and which model XR8 it is from? I think it is an early BA XR8 setup but not sure.

Thanks.

Does that come with the plastic mounting piece that bolts to the floor ? Or is it just essentially a boot ?
